This Privacy Policy describes how Truefol LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our Compass network automation maturity assessment platform.

• Account information: your email address, name, and company name provided during registration.
• Assessment data: your responses to maturity assessment questions, including scores and competency evaluations.
• Usage data: information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and session duration.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver the Compass assessment service and generate your maturity reports.
• Produce aggregated, anonymized peer benchmarks that help all users understand industry trends.
• Improve the platform’s reliability, performance, and feature set.
• Communicate with you about your account, assessment results, and service updates.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We will only share your data in the following circumstances:

• When required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process.
• With your explicit consent, such as when you choose to share a report with colleagues.
• With service providers who assist in operating the platform, under strict data processing agreements.

Cookies

We use session authentication cookies solely to keep you signed in while using the platform. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information and assessment data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data and assessment records within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized, aggregated data used for benchmarking may be retained indefinitely.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• Encryption of data in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher.
• Encryption of data at rest for all stored assessment records.
• Role-based access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel.
• Regular security reviews and monitoring of our infrastructure.

Data Residency

All data is stored on Truefol-owned infrastructure located in San Diego, California. We do not use third-party cloud hosting providers, and no data is transferred internationally. Your assessment data, account information, and generated reports remain within our directly-controlled infrastructure at all times.

Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of third-party services to operate the platform:

• Resend: Email delivery for magic link authentication and platform notifications.
• Cloudflare Turnstile: CAPTCHA verification to protect against automated abuse.

These services process only the minimum data necessary for their function and are bound by data processing agreements.

Client-Managed Analytics

Compass supports optional Google Tag Manager (GTM) integration for clients who wish to collect their own analytics. This integration is entirely client-controlled — Truefol does not enable, configure, or access any analytics data collected through GTM. If GTM is not configured, no analytics tracking occurs on the platform.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
