Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Compass platform. By accessing or using Compass, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Service Description

Compass is a network automation maturity assessment platform that enables organizations to evaluate their automation capabilities across structured competencies, receive scored reports with peer benchmarks, and track progress over time. The platform is provided by Truefol LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

User Accounts

Access to Compass is provided via magic link authentication. When you request access, we send a secure, time-limited sign-in link to your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account, as it serves as the sole authentication method. You must not share sign-in links with others or attempt to access accounts that do not belong to you.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, other users’ accounts, or our infrastructure.
  • Use the platform to distribute malware, spam, or any harmful content.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform.
  • Misrepresent your identity or organizational affiliation when completing assessments.

Intellectual Property

The Compass platform, including its design, assessment frameworks, scoring methodologies, report templates, and software, is owned by Truefol LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

Data Ownership

Organizations retain full ownership of their assessment data, including responses, scores, and generated reports. We do not claim ownership over data you submit to the platform. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of delivering the service and producing anonymized, aggregated benchmarks.

Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Truefol LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may stop using the platform and request account deletion by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, you may request an export of your assessment data.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a notice on the platform. Your continued use of Compass after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
